Susie Wyshak conceived of the Chocolate Chip Cookie School and is chief evangelist and producer. The Kickstarter campaign will draw in experts in childhood education and in creating books and apps that kids love.

A Bit About Susie
I’m not a parent. But I am the best Auntie ever! And I’ve always found teaching kids rewarding. I decided to connect the dots between my background and goals:
- volunteering as a writer coach (WritersCoachConnection.org), a writing coach pen pal (In2Books), for cooking class help with Sprouts Cookie Club, and with BizWorld (many years ago in a how-to friendship bracelet-manufacturing class
- making cookies with my niece and nephew
- tracking down who and what is behind the food (and everything) we consume
- fostering the American spirit of innovation and business creavity
- coaching to inspire people, and kids, that they can do anything
- writing, which you can see in my food business blog and upcoming Good Food, Great Business (Chronicle, 2014) on how to start an artisan food business.
- connections to ingredients makers
Rather than writing the book myself, I decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to make the book and programs as great as they could be, to build an inspired team and access to experts in education and children’s book publishing.
